Abstract

The achievements of the first twenty years of work of the international specialized scientific publication «Fundamental’nye problemy sovremennogo materialovedenia (Basic Problems of Material Science (BPMS))», covering the original results of scientific research by Russian and foreign scientists in the field of physical materials science, are analyzed. Based on the information presented on the information and analytical portal eLIBRARY.ru, an assessment of publication activity and bibliometric indicators was carried out, and the level of the journal was determined. The merit of the editor-in-chief and the editorial board in the formation and promotion of the journal in the international information space was noted.
