The article examines the possibility of using the principles of universal design in the process of teaching foreign citizens in the Russian Federation universities. The evolution of the concept in the historical aspect with an exit to the modern paradigm of education is considered.
Options for the practical implementation of the principles of universal design in teaching foreigners at the stage of providing information, motivating students and demonstrating the results of training are proposed.
