Abstract

The article discusses the concepts of professional linguistic personality and professional and educational discourse. The main focus is on the training of engineering personnel by means of the academic discipline "Russian as a foreign language". The article considers the development of professional and personal qualities of competitive specialists in foreign language classes at a technical university.
