Abstract

With the rapid development of the new energy vehicle industry, electric vehicles have subsequently appeared in front of the public and played an important role. As an emerging means of transportation, electric vehicles are very popular among people. This design deeply explores many aspects of electric vehicle chassis design, especially focusing on the design field of the elderly mobility scooter. This paper mainly carries out the following work: firstly, according to the national standards to select the parameters of the elderly mobility scooter, through the selected parameters to calculate the car's transmission ratio, hill climbing ability and range. Then we focus on the design of the chassis of the elderly mobility scooter, including the optimization of the suspension system and the frame. Finally, the rationality test of the elderly mobility scooter was carried out.
