Abstract

The authors consider the contradictions of the mesoeconomic level on the example of the innovation sphere. A contradiction is understood as a state (temporary, but critically significant) of incompatibility of individual entities (attributes, properties, qualities, parameters, and functionality of certain elements of the system — subsystems, actors), which objectively arise during the development of systems (subsystems, actors). The method of comparison and juxtaposition allowed us to interpret the "barriers" of the innovation sphere as "contradictions".
