Abstract

This paper presents the design and analysis of a disc-changeable automatic bean seeder for small-scale and hilly farmland applications. Aimed at solving problems such as low efficiency, uneven planting distance, and poor seed screening in traditional sowing, the seeder adopts a modular structure including seed sorting disc, seed metering disc, furrow opener wheel and transmission system. The seed sorting mechanism effectively eliminates low-germination seeds, and the Hall sensor-based linkage control realizes uniform hill spacing. Mechanical calculations and finite element analysis are carried out for key components, verifying strength and operational reliability. The whole machine is compact, adaptable to flat and mountainous fields, and improves sowing precision and efficiency while reducing labor cost. It provides a practical scheme for intelligent and precise bean sowing equipment.
