Abstract

One of the most important parameters when measuring wastewater pollution is the biochemical oxygen demand (hereinafter referred to as BOD). At the same time, this indicator measured over 5 days, hereinafter referred to as BOD5, is considered to most accurately reflect the degree of water pollution. This work is devoted to studying the possibility of reducing the time of the experiment, during which it is possible to obtain relevant results for further forecasting BOD5 using artificial neural networks.
