Prospects for joint development of recreational resources of the South Ural by neighboring regional entities

Abstract

The topic under study is very relevant for countries with such vast territories as Russia. The usual practice of administrative division into separate regions and entities — namely, taking into account geographically determined boundaries — along rivers, along mountain ridges and other natural objects, in the future inevitably creates the need for joint careful and coordinated interaction for effective management of the territory. This article touches upon aspects of developing the tourism potential of the Southern Urals — as a territory with impressive natural and landscape diversity with relatively high transport and geographical accessibility. Its location at the conventional junction of Europe and Asia gives this area unique opportunities.
