Innovations and innovative potential of the Altai Territory

Abstract

The article examines innovations, the level of innovative activity of organizations in the subjects of the Russian Federation and the innovation potential in relation to the agro-industrial complex. Theoretical approaches to the definition of these categories are considered. Based on official statistics, an analysis of the level of innovation activity of organizations in the Federal Districts of the Russian Federation for the period 2020-2024 was carried out. Special attention is paid to the problems of innovative activity of organizations in the Siberian Federal District and the Altai Territory. Significant interregional imbalances have been identified, as well as a discrepancy between high activity and a low share of innovative products in the Altai Territory. The recommendations on improving the effectiveness of innovation activities in the region are substantiated.
